Unlocking Advantages for Your Business
New
Brand-new equipment features the latest technology, carries a comprehensive factory warranty, and comes with the highest initial investment.
Used DeHart Certified
A certified dealer meticulously restores it through a frame-up rebuild. It comes with a limited warranty, so you get proven reliability at real cost savings.
Used Reconditioned / Repaired
We repair or replace specific critical components to keep the machine running reliably. This saves you money, but it carries some unknown operational risk.
Used As-Is
This is a previously owned baler sold as-is at the lowest price point. It carries the highest operational risk, with no guarantees.
Key Differences
We perform a Recondition/Repair Rebuild on an as-needed basis. The goal is to get the baler operating properly, not to address every possible repair.
By contrast, a DeHart Certified Rebuild is a more thorough process. It requires complete disassembly, which allows for deeper inspections and stricter tolerances.
- We replace additional parts, address more wear liners, and hold tighter tolerances similar to a new machine.
- Once we disassemble the machine, we find and fix more potential issues, which leads to a more reliable long-term outcome.
Which Option is Right for You?
- If you need the baler back in service quickly with essential repairs, a Recondition/Repair Rebuild may be the best option. On the other hand, if long-term reliability and performance are priorities, or if downtime is costly, the DeHart Certified Rebuild ensures a more complete restoration.

Our Certification Process
The only way to truly evaluate a machine’s condition is to strip it down. That’s why we start every rebuild by tearing the machine apart. Once we get it down to the frame, we steam-clean the structure and then thoroughly inspect it for cracks, wear, and tolerance issues.
Structural Certification
- We replace structural components with notable wear.
- We inspect wear surfaces and replace them as needed.
- We replace or upgrade steel wear surfaces to 400 hardness abrasion-resistant steel.
- We check floors, walls, chamber areas, plates, shafts, and other components to make sure they're straight, square, and within tolerance.
- Then we check for structural enhancements on models built in later years and make modifications and reinforcements to improve the machine.
Operational Certification
- Then we check for structural enhancements on models built in later years and make modifications and reinforcements to improve the machine.
- We inspect bearings, links, and pins, and replace them as needed.
- We test each component for proper fit, travel, tolerance, and operability.
- We drain and thoroughly clean the hydraulic tank, then install new oil and filters.
- After assembly, we thoroughly test the machinery. We recheck linear surfaces for proper fit and seating, then install and adjust shear surfaces before final testing.
- Finally, we perform a quality control inspection. Once that's done, we tape and paint the machine and attach new safety and operator decals.
